Description

Would you rather: stink to the high heavens or have aluminum seeping through your pores? If you said “neither,” you came to the right place. Botanical All Good Deodorants are aluminum-free and don’t contain any known toxins (ie: the best deodorants of all time, in our humble opinion). Instead, we use plant-based active ingredients and enzymes to fight body odor – a good dose of arrowroot powder dries underarms and combats wetness, aloe vera, and calendula help soothe sensitive skin, and the sweet smells of Cedarwood and Spruce leave you smelling like a garden instead of the bottom of the hamper. Skincare IS personal care.

Our customers love these deodorant sticks because they glide on easily, don’t leave stains, and take care of odor-causing bacteria while still allowing your sweat glands to do their job (which is, you know, sweating…). This plant-based deodorant is bio-active, which means that plant-based ingredients (bio–) actually respond to your body and activate when you start heating up (–active). Hence, bio-active. It’s like a mood ring for your armpits.

      Hi Eileen,

Our deodorants do not contain baking soda nor do they contain aluminum. We use natural enzymes and essential oils to fight off odors.

On a side note, if you are switching from chemical deodorant to a natural one, your body will likely undergo a detox process, and for a week or two you may find yourself smelling different (maybe even unpleasant). This is normal, and to have a more representative picture of how the deodorant works for you, we recommend sticking out the two weeks – through the detox process.

  2. Question

    Greg

What happens to the plastic dispenser when the deodorant is used up? I’ve been using cardboard dispensers happily. I like the all good brand but don’t like sending things like this to the landfill.

      Hi Greg!

It depends a bit depending on where you live and what your local recycling rules are. We recommend checking to see if our packaging is accepted at your local recycling facility.

If your local recycling facility can accept our packaging, we recommend removing the elevator platform inside the deodorant stick and rinsing it out before recycling it.

The packaging was minimal, and this particular deodorant has a very light scent. I prefer this Cedarwood and Spruce deodorant over the Rose and Jasmine option. I also love how clean the ingredients are. You can use the app “Think Dirty” to check their overall score and learn more about the ingredients being used. I also bought some for my boyfriend and he loves it too!

Also can I say AWESOME COMPANY ETHOS!

I love this stuff and was sad that I used it all up (lasted me about 6 months!). I’ll definitely be buying this again 🙂

Pretty good! It feels so good on my skin, glides on really smooth with no irritation (and love that it’s natural). I just have to reapply throughout the day.

I use the Cedarwood one. It’s good, Propanediol based but it’s USDA with Arrowroot, yeast and salt soap. Sounds weird but I did my research and its one of the best ones, its very mild. I haven’t had any issues and I have sensitive skin. It doesn’t smell very much which is great actually! It’s just such a pain in the ass to find. No regular store carries it and Whole Foods doesn’t carry it either. Only Sprouts, sometimes. And when they do they have one or two but only the Tea Tree kind not the Cedarwood. I wish it was easier to get and at $9 for a 2.5 oz/72 grams its one of the most expensive ones but I don’t mind cause its safe for me

I used to use the larger commercial brands of deodorant. I’ve been trying a number of different safer natural deodorants and haven’t really been happy with any of them in particular. I wanted to avoid aluminum, etc. The ones I had tried were either ashy, would get damp or didn’t smell good.
I decided to try All Good’s deodorant on a whim. I’ve now found my deodorant that I will continue to use in All Good’s spruce and cedar wood. It feels unobtrusive and comfortable and the smell is very nice. I would recommend this one over any other deodorant that I’ve tried.

When I first smelled this deodorant I thought it was way too strong. I tried it and was surprised how quickly the smell dissipated. My girlfriend is very sensitive to strong smells and she definitely gave it the thumbs up. Seems like I’ve had all day protection as well. No aluminum so I don’t feel like I’m poisoning myself with each application. It’s good stuff!

Love the scent and seems to last through the day. Nice to be able to cut out the typical aluminum options.

This is maybe my favorite deodorant scent ever. I love the outdoors and the smell of fresh pine forests. The scent completely reminds me of that experience and feels fresh. The only downside to this deodorant is that it doesn’t last long on me. I’m a bigger guy and I have to use anti-perspirant with this deodorant just to make it last more than a couple hours. I don’t especially like to reapply it all day long, so I use this deodorant in conjunction with an anti-perspirant deodorant and the fresh scent lasts much longer. Unfortunately, that diminishes any of the non-harmful qualities of this deodorant, but the scent is my favorite. Makes me feel woodsy and fresh.
